I’m a Sports Physiotherapist having spent years working within a number of elite level high performance programs involving elite cricket teams. During this time I’ve been able to develop my sports physiotherapy skills to a very high level. I’m now using the skills and experience I have collected over the years and applying them to my private practice roles along with continued sports team and athlete involvement.
I consider myself to be highly professional in all aspects of the way I approach my work and I’m constantly striving to improve. I’m really passionate about physiotherapy and particularly around our role in the sports medicine industry. I’ve now accumulated a wide range of experience in both the sports and clinical setting overseas and within New Zealand.
Along with my cricket roles I have had exposure to numerous other sports both in a paid and voluntary capacity which has contributed to expanding my knowledge base. I have also had exposure to a variety of sporting organisations internationally which has allowed me remain at the forefront of sports medicine best practice.
As an author I have contributed to numerous publications around the world including Sport Health Australia, Sports Physiotherapy NZ Newsletter, Cricket Today Magazine (India), Otago University Bulletin, NZ Fitness Magazine to name a few.
I’m a current member of Physiotherapy New Zealand, Sports Physiotherapy New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate from the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
